Installation

Download the addon

Download MyArmory from the link below and unzip it. You should have a folder called MyArmory containing MyArmory.toc, MyArmory.lua, and a few other files.

Install it

Move the MyArmory folder into your WoW AddOns directory:
World of Warcraft\_anniversary_\Interface\AddOns\MyArmory\
If WoW is already running, type /reload in chat. Otherwise just launch the game normally.

Save your specs

Log into the character you want to share. Type /myarmory to open the addon window.
  • • While on your main spec, click Save Current as Main Spec
  • • Switch to your off spec, click Save Current as Off Spec
  • • Click Export for mywowarmory.com

Paste and share

Copy all the text from the export window (Ctrl+A, Ctrl+C), then go to your Sync page and paste it. Your profile is live instantly — share the link with your guild or raid lead.

FAQ

Does the addon send data automatically?

No. Nothing is sent automatically. You manually click Export and paste the string on this website. The addon only reads your character data — it never writes to the WoW API or network.

Do I need to save both specs?

No. You can save just your main spec if you only want to show a single build. Off spec is optional.

Why does my item show as 'Unknown Item'?

WoW caches item data lazily. If you've never seen an item before, it may not be in your client cache yet. Hover over the item in-game to load it, then re-export.

Is the addon safe / will it get me banned?

Yes, it's safe. The addon only reads publicly available in-game data (same as the default character panel) and does not modify game behavior. It complies with Blizzard's addon policy.
